When a kit is considered

Why scope matters

Renewing only the belt can leave an aging support component in service. Conversely, not every nearby part requires replacement automatically. Leaks, bearing condition, and the vehicle's service procedure guide the decision. A kit should be matched to the exact engine and its timing arrangement.

The parts list and any separately recommended items are reviewed before disassembly. Timing positions, component installation, belt tension, and final rotation checks follow the applicable engine procedure.
